How to Verify LIME Number as a Foreign Citizen?

According to the Telecommunications Law of Mongolia, users must verify their identity information in order to use a phone number and related services.

Verification Requirements:

• Must have a valid Mongolian residence permit
• Must be at least 16 years old

You need to submit the following information using your passport and Mongolian residence permit card:

• Passport photo 
• Front side photo of the residence permit card
• Back side photo of the residence permit card
• A 3-second video you holding your passport with your full face visible

Please follow the steps below.

1.Tap the Profile icon, located in the top-right corner of the app.

2.Tap Personal Information.

3. Select the Verification section.

4. Tap the Submit Request button in the Documents section.

5. Select the Foreign citizen section, enter your First Name, Last Name and F-Registration Number, then tap Continue.

6. Take a photo of your Passport within the provided frame.

7. Take a photo of the front side of your residence permit card within the frame.

8. Take a photo of the back side of your residence permit card within the frame.

9. Upload a 3-second verification video as instructed. Please make sure you are not wearing a hat, glasses, or mask.

10.Once verification is successful, you will be able to use your number.

Notes:

All document information must be clear and fully visible.

When recording the video, your full face must be visible in a well-lit environment while holding your passport.

Important:

Please make sure your residence permit card is still valid.
